Seems like the weather is going to be a little iffy for the small craft this weekend. I go out of Hampton/Rye and the ride can be "challenging" for me with 2-4' seas in a 19' boat. I know the Mack will be churned up in good shape. The tide doesn't look bad for Sat., but with 2-4's in the mouth, the outgoing is a hoot.
I went 2 weeks ago and SLAMMED the cod/haddock. I am dying to go out again and go for four (macks, stripers, cod, flounder). I am just venting.... I am getting itchy to go, but with me being so far away, I can't chance a no-go with gas prices. I am still new at ocean navigation and I am skiddish to say the least of running aground or rolling it over.
What is your limit for conditons?
I hate the weatherman:thumbsdown:
