Shore fishing has been really tough on the south shore for the past 2 years. I fish spots very close to where you are fishing and have had very little luck. On the other hand out in a boat is a whole different story. I would make sure you're fishing either high tide or low tide an hour or two on each end. Don't bother fishing Damons this year, I've only heard bad things.
