Can anyone give me any direction as to where i may be able to catch Eels around the Fall River Ma,Somerset Ma,Swansea Ma area? I have tried trapping them north of the brightman street bridge with no luck. I have been using chunk pogies. I don't think my trap or bait is the problem. Any ideas on where i could trap them? Also do they migrate after november?

Try in the spring when they leave fresh water.
Try a bunch of bait at once. I prefer wet cat food in a can. Put holes in the can so the scent gets out. Put the other bait, green crabs horseshoe crab or fish in a nylon stalking and toss that in the drink.

Can't tell you my spots. It took me a while to find them so your out of luck on that part.
But all I can say is read up on them and use Google maps.
Also if you want to catch lots of them get a commercial licence for them. Then you can store them in a tank and have your own supply all season if you happen to catch enough.
There out there.....I like to keep the 3 foot ones and eat them. There nice eating if prepared well and smoked.

Also; look for rivers that are fresh water that lead into the ocean (Brackish).
Muddy bottoms are a good start.
