No fun last w/e but going to grab a few hours sleep and go throw some eels at the beach front on the rising tide, then run out to see if anything is happening at HSL at daybreak.

Had some fun last night, did not get out until 2:30 am so i did not make it out to the ledge but the beach front was good. Popular size was 28 - 32" but got one good fish. Bluefish were around, they decided my eels were too long so they kept cutting them off to about 3".
I got a few really small eels so i decided to try and put them on a tube and it worked! Though I did get one jaw-dropping take, took 30 - 40 yards in seconds, then gone. Not sure what happened there, you usually don't miss with a tube???

Glad to hear of some fish caught. I actually have been wrenching on the engines for the last week and haven't fished at all. Hope to change that soon.
