I caught a couple yesterday, shad that is, if ya don't kill 'em and hook 'em right they will swim out. I use a treble with one hook turned down , not completely closed, then hook the shad through the eye socket into the head. This way they stay on the treble better. thumbsup.gif
The way I was shown to live line shad, herring or any other fish for live lining is to hook them through the nose. I've caught many big fish this way.
