With 69 -70 degree water temps. The shad should be on the banks spawing at night. They do this up in the shallow flats. That is where you should concentrate now. Big, long mud flts are the bet now.

Man I bet that 27" fish made the reel scream for a while!!! Nice fish. Nice white too!!

Shad kill=hungry hybrids!!! We have been several years with mild winters, and low numbers of winterkill shad. We have some fat hybs, when you can catch them.
