My latest trip was about 1000 miles to Kent Island, MD to striper fish and goose hunt. Fantastic late season trophy striper time and the beginning of Canada Goose banging!:Sailor:

One hour in every direction, Hudson - North, Raritan - South, J-Bay - East, Delaware - West. One hour to each. Well worth the ride.

It's either 20 mins or 1 1/2 hour depending on how I feel!

I'm lucky that I live by the Housatonic River, so depending on where, what parts, and what side I want to fish on, it can range from a 5 minutes ride to no more than a 20 minute ride. I usually like to fish in the fresh/salt mix or higher up where its fresh water.
