I dont fish off the sand much, never liked it really lol. But I suggest you fish the Hampton Jetty, and also from the sand on the Seabrook side of the bridge into the harbor. Throw out Jigs with eel trailers, Herring, or your fave lure and you should hook up.

They call me "Jonny Madan" lol (Madan are the Marsh People"). I fish the Hampton Marsh, and have been know to venture over to Browns in Seabrook to fish that river. I also fish off the rocks up and down Rte. 1 between Hampton and Portsmouth, and I sometimes visit the Hampton Jetty. But you'll rarely, if ever, see me in the sand lol. I think I have a complex with that :) I'm afraid of the sand!

If you want to trade casts sometime, just let me know. I practically live next to the Hampton Marsh, and I am right in between town and the beach.

Nothing too special lol. Most fish are caught on the common Storm Wildeyes and other rubber swimbaits, rat-l-trap type lures, and Husky Jerks or bombers. A husky jerk with a pause seems to be working well. I've the fish slamming the lure on the pause. THis is with a suspending husky jerk ofcourse. Same goes for flies I hear, you can weight them and throw them with spinning gear. The fly guys have said they are getting slammed on the pause as well.

I may go out today, but that depends on if my friend or my brother goes, cuz they both 4X4's, and I cant get out there with my car after all this rain. "The Black Lagoon" puddle forms after this type of weather lol.
