Just curious since I have only done the migration once and saw everybody fishing with Herring. I had to resort to cutting a couple dead ones up on the beach. Anyways I get bored just standing there so would rather as usual have one pole out and cast with the other.
Is it worth it in April May and if so what doe you successfully use. I th_icon_splitform.g:promise I won't tell a soul:smiley17e:

here's an idea for ya, a lil pipe cleaner wrapped on the trebles and apply.

That's a great idea, I was thinking for my Eels (plastic Hogys) taking a strip of flannel 1/4 in wide and 2 in. long attaching it to hook underneath, apply scent ?!!

That will work too! Always try to think outa the box!

Always stick with what works - but when there's a tuff bite, that's when outa the box might be an "Ace in the hole"...

Het driz, welcome to the show!! glad to have ya.
Bait fishing can be very boring at times, I Always have at Least 2 rods with me. If I decide to use bait, I'm Always casting a rod and paying close attention to my bait rod.
Casting jigs are always a go-to lure in 1- 3oz, I prefer 2oz for most applications. And White is a Must have color.
If I was to cast only One stick bait, it would be the 6 inch Rapala X-Rap
SXR14 in Silver Blue Mackeral (suspending) check out my profile for pics of what I use and carry, and trust me ...that's not All I use!!!:bonedemon:
