noticing a slight wobble on the Daiwa ss2600 when held and cranked in a diagonal or vertical positon . Everything is tight and in good order . Any similar experiences?

Define "slight"
Mine has a tiny bit of wobble, all spinning reels do, nature of the beast.
If it's off balance by a lot you might have a slight bend in the shaft.

My 1600 lasted about 14 years until it finally developed a coffee grinder feeling and had to go back to Daiwa for a complete refurbish. $17 + shipping and it came back as good as new.

That reel caught a huge number of schoolies over the years.

By slight I mean nothing visible . Only audible . And only when reel is vertical or diagonal not horizontal . . . I not too concerned just curious:whistle:

I have a SS1600 daiwa and it to had a wooble to the spool and started to load the line up front. I had daiwa go thru it and they put a new handle on it . The wooble is gone and its like new:icon_cool2:
