So, me and my freinds have been going afters stipers on the south side fo the cape (alot of Monomoy, chatham and Nauset spots) for a while, and have done pretty well grabbing some good teen lbs stripers on most trips, with the ocasional big one mixed in. But we are now trying to really focus on those big boys, we've heard alot of different opinions on how to go for the cows opposed to the smaller keepers, things like more drifting w/live scup, using fish heads down the bottom, etc. But was wondering if anyone out there has any tips for trying to target the big guys? Should we try new spots? slow things down? Keep the bait right on the bottom? Any other tricks?

You got to read Rocs articles in the reference library
One is entitled "targeting the Cows" "cows in the shallows"
Etc. etc. thumbsup.gif
They are listed there as stickies. Eventually i will
organize them properly.
