BUENA VISTA (Lake Evans-Lake Webb) a wide variety of fish species; most popular are the huge 30+ striped bass and largemouth bass, crappie, catfish and trout

Going camping there in a week. I have never fished for striped bass. Will be taking out my boat with us. All i been getting is to do trolling for stripers, Any other tips?

in the morning and evening, throw some topwater near flats and in the shallows where baitfish will be. nothing better than a topwater striper! you can use spooks, poppers, pencil poppers, wake baits, floating swimbaits, sammys, gunfish, whatever you got. daytime, 7-10 inch rubber worms with ribbon tails, jerkbaits, lipless crankbaits like rattle traps or lv 500's, or swimbaits are my bait of choice. trolling broken rebles is popular and produces also. godd luck and have fun!
