This time of year,(june) I like to get back into one of the spring fed creeks where the water temp is cool. The larger ones can't handle the warm water temps, so they seek cool water refuges. I usually fish live shad or bream near the bottom. Early morning or late evening, they may be caught on topwater at times. I've had luck with redfins, chug bugs, top dawgs, and spittin images. You may find em down near the dam in deep water too. But I'm a relative greenhorn at that. Hope this helps.
