Is there a way to test my trim pump to see if its shot?? I installed a new selenoid and have power going to the unit but nothing happens. I tried to post the picture but it wont upload for some reason ;0(

I have an 88 200 horse mercury blackmax. I can raise the engine with no problem when I need to lower it it takes like 10 minutes and then it just kicks in goes down. While I'm in gear and going when I try and trim it out it doesn't hold. I think I need to add fluid it but I have no idea...

Its a 4 cylinder Inboard 151. We lost a hydraulic line im guessing. The motor will not trim up or down. tis stuck almost all of the way down. there was alot of oil coming to the surface and im guessing its hyd oil. Anyone face a similar problem and have any advice? id like to minimize out of...
