This is a trigger fish caught in Niantic bay in CT. I guess it is a state record...I had no idea these fish were even around in these waters. I thought they were a tropical species. Anyone know what kind of trigger this is or have any information on them being around in Long Island sound area?

Hey all, Has anyone ever used one of these casting triggers on your spinning setup? Even my callused guitar playin fingers get a little sore repeatedly casting if I'm using some extra weight. What do you think??
