i love watching topwater action like this! i think we are going to be able to start tearing them up really soon. hitting topwater just like this! check it - i am ready to start throwing topwater plugs for stripers here in delaware!!!

I caught this hybrid on a topwater lure back in May. The water was up and was a little murky. There was alot of debri on the water also. We caught a couple of short fish when this thing hit. Man what an explosion.

JC and I headed out to the third again and found a nicer class of fish. Caught close to twenty with almost half being in the slot. Nothing like a thirty inch fish crashing your topwater plug (actually 40" fish are cooler). Sorry no video tonight!!!

Casted topwater plugs to the 3rd island Monday night caught 40 in two hours!!! It was literally a fish on every cast, not big ones but I can't think of anything more fun than a bunch of fish willing to hit topwater baits. We will be out there Wednesday night doin' it again!!! VIDEO LINK...

Just curious what everyone's favorite lures are to use? I mostly use floating rapalas.

Southern Oklahoma guide Salt water series chugbugs and near-nuthin type baits are producing stripers. When the fish go down hopkins spoons and down-rigging with double jig rigs will get the job done. Steven "Doc" Walker
