Hey guys, here's what I have and did. A 7" needlefish,tail is 3/4" wide. I drilled a 1/4" bit into tail end 1" deep to fit a .24oz tail weight which is 1/4 wide and 1" long.A nice fit, but couldn't use tail grommet and used a belly that fits snug over tail weight and covers the hole drilled...

on nj tackle nose grommets and tail grommets are different sizes... should i drill one 1/8" hole thru and then drill different sizes to fit each one in? and if i driil a big spot in the tail how do i properly add the tail grommet on?:dizzy:
