Hi, I have been fishing up in Maine for a few years now. The one difficulty I always run into are crabs. I use mackeral or sand worms as bait and half the time the crabs eat it all. Does anyone know a better way so the crabs don't end up taking my bait? Thanks

Anyone ever tried using Golden Shiners as fresh bait in saltwater? I have free easy access to 6"+ shiners. Just wondering if they can be an alternative to traditional bait.
