Hi, I have been fishing up in Maine for a few years now. The one difficulty I always run into are crabs. I use mackeral or sand worms as bait and half the time the crabs eat it all. Does anyone know a better way so the crabs don't end up taking my bait? Thanks

Anyone ever tried using Golden Shiners as fresh bait in saltwater? I have free easy access to 6"+ shiners. Just wondering if they can be an alternative to traditional bait.

I've never fished lures or plugs off shore for stripers, but want to get into it some this year. Looked at some yesterday but were from 5 to 20 bucks each, which I could lose in one cast. What would be the best to get. Our water is not as clear as down your way due to the amount of water coming...
