I want to take my kids fishing on the Bay this summer. Neither are early risers or want to deal with long trips to RI Sound. We'll go after fluke when the season opens. Where are some good locations for black bass, scup, and flounder and what kind of bait/lures do you use?
Thanks
A meeting in South County is schedule for 22 April I believe at URI
There at least 6 proposed changes to fkuke some that are pretty bad. For the recrearttional and Charter boats.

Adam
does anyone use scup for striper??? just came to my head why not.... if anyone does use them how do you use them??? use them live, dead, chunk, or just use them for chum slick???
This may be dumb but I gotta ask.
Do scup feed at night?
I have a spot where I always catch scup. Caught some after work yesterday. I'm usually there after dawn. This morning around 3AM I was there and I got nothing............
Does any one have a picture of a scup,so I can see what they look like, they are foreign to our waters. Unless it is another name for something we do share as bait! (delaware bay&delaware river) dontknow.gif
I brought this up in my club email group,
How many have used scup / porgies for bass bait and what kind of success have you had? What is your best method for rigging this type of bait? What kind of areas do you seem to feel this bait works best in ?
I know I have read and seen good things with...
Anyone out here fishing with live scup? I want to throw away all of my wire rigs and start all over. I would love a little help on how to do it.
Thanks
