New to the Forum. I primarily fish Raystown Lake for Stripers. Anyone on here fishing Raystown recently?

I'll be on my way to Raystown in a few weeks for a weeks worth of night fishing. Can anyone help me with netting alewives? I have my cast net permit and a 42 gal tank, I just have no idea on how to net bait in fresh water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

The fishing on raystown is slow to say the least. Alot of weeds floating making it difficult to keep off your bait or lures and planer boards. This time of year usually has the fish schooling by now but that isn't the case this year. Alot of bait showing up on the graph.

I'm headed up tomorrow morning and staying till Thursday of Friday, plan on hitting the lake at night a couple times while vacationing during the day with the family. I'll post a report either during or upon return. Tight lines. jakebird
