I was talkin with my buddy about maybe giving the Providence River a try...Then it occured to me that I didnt know if you needed a license to fish it. I live out of state so I never really gave it much thought. Can someone provide this info..

Hi guys, just joined, anyone know if Sabin pt or Goddard is worth fishing for a quick trip, I live in Pawtucket , just want to stay local with my 5 yr old any suggestions for family freindly areas or even some freshwater, im new to the area. appreciate any feedback

Recently started going there,,, now I do 90% of my buisness with them. Not pushy, not trying to hand you a BS line about anything.
I'm particular, put them through the test to see how they'd respond, and thus far it's all A+...
Ok I think I will give up on these hold overs lol..
My second attempt at trying to hook into one of these locals with no luck.
I tried white bucktails with plastic twisters... worked off the bottom slow bumping it as I bring it back to the boat... I jigged it off the bottom slow while marking...
I thought I posted this yesterday but I guess I didn't hit submit.
I fished the Providence River by boat yesterday and although I marked many fish I was unable to connect. We were using plastics and my son also used a deadly dick.
The water temp in the river was warmer than I thought it would...
Just got an email from another group that I belong to and there was a report of stripers in the 23" to 24" size being caught in the Providence River. It's almost that time :)
Anyone catch the NE Angling show on NESN ? They filmed this segment the 1st week of March in the Thames River CT, there...
