Biologist Mauck to end 38-year career

The fisheries biologist responsible for managing what is arguably Oklahoma's most important lake is retiring this month after 38 years with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
Ordered some new casting spoons from Tom Williams in Oklahoma. Said he'd not been wiper fishing for several weeks. He said the surface temps at the lake he fishes in OK are at 95 degrees.
In some parts of the world, we would call any fish caught in that temp "blanched.," I believe.
