I am interested in how many fisherman have caught a 40+ striper in the last 10 years? I caught my first one 3 years ago it was 44 inch and 39.5 lbs last year missed by 1 half inch. those are my 2 best in 15 years. also would like to know if they were caught above or below Catskill? mine was above.

I was filling up the rowboat and a guy at the gas station came over and started to talk fishing... said he was told of a 52 inch fish out of Henry Hudson this year. I guess whoever caught it didn't join the river basin contest :icon_cry:

weather was great again, but not the fish. Still got the skunk on my bak this year, and i dont think its coming off. seems to be the end and i cant catch one, ill try again this week

In PA's freshwater stripers only need to be 20 inches to keep. A buddy and I were talking about this while fishing the other day. How many agree that the size limit needs to be bumped up to at least 24 if not bigger. Lots of people keep the smaller stripers that they catch and they never get...
