Im seeing some post about catching dogfish and skates, i have been going to SH and caught a skate here and there. Are there any beaches in sj where they show up more? i have not seen a dogfish yet. I would not mind catching them so if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

Does anyone ever catch dogfish on purpose or by chance? If so do you have any tips or techniekes on how to catch them. Also are they part of the shark family because to me they looked pretty much like a small shark. Thanks
