pottytrain1.gif Big OM Heavy 12' starts wagging like crazy....I jump up and start running towards it only to see a large log with two funny looking roots in the area of my bait. Then the roots start wiggling. It's a freaking deer, swimming in the ocean....wtf? About this time a Ranger pulls...

I am just looking for an opinion or a review on this reel. The largest model weigh only 17.5 oz and can spool 250 yards of 17lb line. Its much lighter than other reels of the same size, and it has a baitrunner function. Priced for only $80.

Looks like it's going to be a bit nasty tomorrow with a stiff east wind. I suppose Fluke is out. Anyone think the East could spur a bass bite?

Fishing is picking up as we grabbed our limit this morning but had to work for them. Jigs, Hogy plastics and some Ron-z's did the trick. We'll be at it tomorrow and Saturday. We'll also be fishing both open and chartered trips thru December!

So far this September has been an exact repeat of the September of 2010. A year ago last night I had a crew from Missouri catch 30-40 keeper striped bass with the largest tipping the scales at 37.5 pounds. These were by far the biggest bass of their lives, and according to them, the best...

Be sure to visit My Fishing Cape Cod for additional fishing reports and articles! Last night and early this morning it was difficult to believe that hurricane force winds are expected for tonight and tomorrow. Cape Cod Bay looked more like a skating rink than anything else. Hard to imagine that...

Tuesday's perfect weather didn't help me catch any fish. Man I put on more than a couple miles for nothing but a few tiny bass with the only decent fish dropped boatside just before I got a glimse. So Wednesday morning was socked in tight with fog making me stay close to home and tinker around...
