    Ive been looking around and having trouble finding alaskan yellow cedar, western red cedar, maybe some maple or birch, cant remember where i used to order wood from would appreciate it if any one could point me in a good direction ! :thu:

    Found a local guy selling 2x4x10 foot AYC for $17.50. Figure it would yield about at least 20 blanks, and works out to about 87 cents per. What's the going rate for AYC? Is $17.50 a fair price for a 10 foot 2x4? I think the same guy is selling red cedar landscape timbers for $25.

    I have been making phone calls to many lumber yards and mill shops in Northern NJ that I have delt with for some reasonable AYC with no luck(they don't even carry).
