Surf casting expert Ron Arra will be making 2 appearances on LI next week - providing seminars on Casting for Distance, including rigging and lure technique.
First, Saturday, April 21 at Tight Lines Tackle, Sag Harbor, and then on Sunday, April 22 at Trophy Tackle in Babylon.
New-ish to the forum (long time reader, only just recently joined). Introductions aside, i would have hoped my first post would be a happier on then this. Anyways, just picked up a Ron Arra 1084 two piece online, used. This may be my obvious first mistake but i thought i was getting a good deal...
I don't know which one I like more but I have to make the decision asap. The St croix is about 450 and the Arra is about 370 +shipping.
Can I get them cheaper somewhere and which one is better IYO

I just purchased a Ron Arra that my wife generously donated the funds for as a Christmas gift. I was inspecting the guides and found a drop of epoxy on one guide that was raised. It is not in the center of the guide(I don't beleive it will affect me fighting fish).
