I am looking to buy handles to fit these reels, or somewhere I can get some priced good. I also have some 700 and 704 parts to trade if anyone would like to swapout.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew which handles could be used on a 704. I see there are some handles for 710 and 712 models available. Can these be used on the 704? FYI, this is for the torpedo handles, not the paddles. Jay

Just got my first 700 and it's smooth as a babys arse. Is power pro ok or will I mess up the spool?

Picked up an older fixed handle 700. Made some upgrades, balanced the rotor cup, and gave it some new paint. Another one to test this season.

I picked up both over the winter. In the process of going through them. Do either drag washer systems need lube, or should I clean and install dry? Both have a mess of oil on then. Must have been owned by a "when in doubt, oil the daylights out of it..."
