Fished down rvw this morning. Rained pissdd on us for a couple hrs but that didn’t stop the bite. Landed 13 total between 18-25.5”. Nothing big but fun as hell. 17fow. Chunk Bait. Water clarity stained but not terrible. Water 49-50.2. Incoming was better than outgoing.

Launched out of Albany at 5am and was set up by 5:30. Fished chunk and live until 11am and only had two runs, and one 28inch fish. I'm sticking to fishing Monday - Thursday, the number of inconsiderate boaters this morning was unbelievable. Boats getting caught up in others anchor lines as well...

fished coeymans area from 5-830. water at 48-49 surface. marked some schools of fish in deeper water but none cooperating. fished 30fow then moved to 14fow. nice night out. managed a couple cats and a hog eel. back at it friday pm.

Better day yesterday. First hour or two of the outgoing were best. Fish were still small though. I got 7 up to about 25" all on clams. I couldn't get any fresh bunker but the shop had some frozen, obviously no good. It did keep the skates off of my clams though.:redbiggrin: Bite shut down...
