Fished 630-430. Anchored on channel edge for an hour. No bites. Moved to 17fow. Landed 13 from 17-34”. Chunk bait. The bites came in spurts. Like little pods moving through. Missed a bunch of runs too. Wind and rain most the time but a few breaks in the weather.

Fished Coeymans and Schodack area from 700-430. nice day out. caught a 25" end of incoming and a 24" beginning of out on chunk in 16-20fow. had the jigging pole in the water almost all day. no herring around. water at 44-45.

Launched out of Albany early and headed south to set up on the channel edge with fresh chunk bait caught from the creek. Set three lines out using all middle chunks of herring and the fish were there. I was actually able to hook up with doubles for only the second time fishing stripers. The bite...

I finally got a striper first one this season

Desided to go to coeymans instead of kingston. My mistake :) Did'nt get out till around 11 We got nothing. Were not marking many fish at all. Talked to a bunch of people that had no luck at all. One said they had a 27" and another a 28" So we know there are some fish around but I dont think...
