First MA Fish of 2013!

Hey All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm on the board for 2013! Caught my first schoolie from the shore yesterday down in West Yarmouth.

I didn't see a ton of action but was able to pull one little guy from the Lewis Pond estuary behind Sea Gull Beach. Incoming tide right around lunch time, on the fly.

The fish are on their way!

Congrats!! The herring run at the canal absolutely stacked with herring on Saturday. Not much longer and we'll have some real fish here

I fished Nut Island, in Quincy Saturday morning.. No luck... Beautiful morning though, but didn't see a single fish jump. Saw some birds grab a few meals but no bites.

Tried a river over in Weymouth last night as well with no luck... I know they are around...

My time will come soon... I know it.

i fished deer island this weekend no luck....it was nice to be out though.
