Arrival TIME Last Year schedule to This YEAR

Well I should say this is my first post on this site.

Putting the boat in Monday or Tuesday at White’s in Wappingers falls my second year after many seasons away from the river last year I didn’t catch any thing until the end of April. Last year I also had zero luck with eels prior years eels always worked well and last year had success with bloods up to 29 LBS. Will attempt this year to get my ass in gear and find herring from the boat. After a month I move the boat [55 &OUT] to the sound in Ct .Last year the guys on the river were real helpful with different tips much nicer than the sound. Do you guys think the bass are a head of last year and are the water temps higher this year than last. See you on the river . Steve

Water temps are just a little higher than this time last year. The main run of Stripers are right on time again except for that 1st little push of fish which were about 1 week ahead.

For us upper river guys this week should be GO TIME for sure. I see some good action starting mid-week
