soft plastics

I was wondering if you guys could tell me which color of soft plastics work best in stained water, like the Delaware, during the day and night. I've read that bright colors are best but others say dark colors work better?? :?

From my experiance i would def. say bright colors like your reds, yellows, and charatuese, but today for instance my buddy got a small one on a purpleish color, so it really all depends.

I like black, white, green or rootbeer...I like chartruse mixed in, but not as a solid color...

For night...either really light colors like white, or really dark colors like black or purple...
...The only thing is that dark colors at night have to be worked above the fish, so that they can see the silouette...

For day...any of the ones above...

I like white for day and black for night.. some of my best rigs utlize both black and white... the black and white "rattlesnakes" from walmart are one of my "go to" rubbers... black top, white belly... if they won't hit that... go home..

chartruese or black for muddy water... I fish over fussy fish about 90% of the time and chartruese in tea to clear water is a no no... but these are shallow restricted waters... fish are very leary.. but challeging.. just the way I like it.. I find myself HAVING to stick to the natural colors to get bit with any authority.. just keep a close eye out for flashes and turn-aways and give 'em a fast moving natural colored offering.. bingo!

I agree white seems to produce in the murky currents but it's funny because like mentioned I know a bunch of people will troll black tubes at night.. I would think to grab the bright red but really ells at night would be black in color and bass snatch them up
