All righty then all you RI and MA guys. Does anyone know about this shop. Some folks had told me about them as they build very nice custom rods. I have also heard they have decent prices and closeouts. Can anyone tell me anything about them? I had called them to check out a rod but want some input before making the trip
The reason I ask is I have been beating my head against a wall trying to find a decent casting Surf Rod around 10'. Can anyone tell me about Rainshadow, I have also heard some good things about there blanks

take the ride down you will be leaving with more then acustom rod thats for sure...They will have all the info on what will fit your needs..Bring your reel...But rainshadows are great rods but i dont own one. I fish mostly lami's. GL

I only have Rainshadow fly rods but I'm familiar with their surf rods as a few of my friends have em. Excellent rods with the best customer service I know of in the fishing rod industry.

Last time I made a call there with a rod question, Bob Batson, the president of the company, called me right back. Now that's how to take care of the customer !!

I've been using one of their customs 10' (Rainshadow blank) since last fall and I love it!!! Going back to buy some more soon!!!!

Thanks for the info guys. I had read some stuff on them the other day and just wanted some info from guys on this site. I hope I can get there soon, I feel like a kid getting ready for vacation.-I can hardly wait. If I can't make it soon I'm just going to have a relative from Ma swing by.

I bought a custom rainshadow on ebay a while back but im not thrilled with the guide wraps. I'll see if i cant make it a summer project and attempt to rewrap it.
