That one is a keeper and one your son will always remember. Hold onto it.

That is sweet!!!

I downloaded a PDF off the internet which has a few secrets to make the car faster. My kids are too small yet, but I helped out a friend I grew up with and his kid took 3rd place overall!!! I didn't do all the tricks as suggested. Bet if I did I bet he would have taken 1st!!!

When I was young my father helped me out (he's a tool and die maker) and I took 1st place overall!!! I can still remember it like it was yesterday. I still have the trophey and car in my office ... those were good times!!!

Shoot me a pm if you want me to forward a copy of the PDF.

Great Job on the "schoolie" car! Hope its as fast as it looks!!
My son graduated into Boy Scouts and thats what got me into plug building. I needed to put the workshop back to use. My son still proudly displays his cars and trophies. You still have more derby cars in you future - But I warn you, it's just as addictive as plug building!!!

He ended up 4th overall, but got a couple of ribbons on the car itself. He was pleased with the results which is all that matters.
