Hi. Welcome to the board!

Expect the first wave os Stripers to be in the marshes between Mothers Day and May 15th. The bite will get pretty consistant between the 15th and 25th.

hey jonny,

we fish from the bridge in hampton and land them cast after cast during the summer. We built a net that we drop down to bring up our catch. I'm going out this weekend so let's hope they are biting. Thanks!!

Cool man. I not sure if its still legal to fish from the bridge or not though. I know the Town and the Police didnt want people on there after an accident where an older gentleman was struck and killed. You could just fish from the sand on either side with a sand spike and a nice chair. Much more comfortable :)

jonny,

we nail them off that bridge...literally fish every cast. We've never been told we couldn't fish on the bridge. I used to fish from the sand but never had the luck i have while fishing from the bridge. I'm going out this weekend so hopefully we'll catch a couple.

Naw, a few schoolies report in the harbor, but the marsh isnt alive yet. Hopefully we'll get several days of sun, sun, and more sun to warm the waters up. I might go out today and throw some chunk herrin to see what happens. If not today, then tomorrow. Still a bit too early to expect anything. Next week :)
