Default How did everyone do this past year?

2012/2013 Ice season was my first season out.

Biggest perch was 14', biggest bass was 17'. Only was able to make it out a handful of times but i caught enough fish to feel as if it was a decent season.

Compared to last season. This season was great. We didn't catch any record breakers but we got alot of fish. Mostly pickeral. got to get my nephew out several times. Met up with some old friends. All in all it was a GREAT season.

Not a bad year at all 13 rainbows ,4 brown trout .about a dozen walleyes and too many perch and pickerl to count and my best pike to date won $240 in the Reed Hill contest with this 38 in. 15lb beauty.

last season was the best in about 20 years.. thick ice cover ( over 40" by late February)) blanketed my favorite lake until early May... allowing some deep water opportunities we haven't been able to utilize in quite some time...... I got a PB 6.75LB rainbow and a dozen or so over 4lbs... too many small mouths to count and caught my limit of white perch ( 25) on just about every trip... I fished well into to April for the first time since the 80's.. last year was the first year I did not fish for lakers in many years..
