Default ff set up. temp.

Well it isnt made for it but this portable eagle i had seemed to fit somewhat in the ff pocket in my t15. The transducer isnt perfect either but i think this will get me staryed. I would like to be paddling around after pike or salmon as soon as the ice is open enough. Im stopping tonight to pick up my pfd and i will be ready to go.

That oughta do the trick. Just be careful when you're launching, etc. that it doesn't catch on anything.

I thought about that. Havnt had this in the water yet and not sure how much im going to be able to move around back and forth but I was thinking that I would just hook it up once under way?? its pretty simple just slide the pvc under the ff and plug in 2 wires. I wil be using this in salt should I spray all the contacts with wd40?

WD40 won't do jack for you on a kayak in salt water. Go to Lowes or Home Depot to the rack where the wire nuts, and other electrical connectors are and look for a white tube with a red label. It's a paste called OxGard. Coat your connections with this and you will never have to worry about corrosion on them.
