Thumbs up Should be a good year on the river

I here that the Albany Yacht Club is renting Slips to Striper fishermen from April 20th thru May 20th for $75.00 per week for almost any size boat. Their bar is open Wednesdays and Fridays. Beer under $3.00 a bottle and food from $5.00 to $12.50. A cheap stop after a hard day of fishing.

It is worth that alone considering that I wouldn't have to launch my boat and fight for a parking spot every other day.

Is anyone else considering getting a slip for the month?

We were there last year, and will be there again this year. 'Can't beat it IMO.

Dates are retarded....should go to the end of the month....stopping the 20th is just when it is getting good.

Hey Doc are you going to put your boat in Marlboro again, or down at Gull Harbor in Newburgh? I know you've been at both, I've only been at the one in Marlboro, was wondering which you preferred?

I'm not sure Gull Harbor is doing striper slips..........there weren't last year and they were empty for the month of May..........I kinda liked Marlboro better as it was gated and safer......prob be there.
