Are there two different IGFA record for inland striper and salt striper? Where can I find the list of record for line size without having to be a member. I'm interested in the 8lb test line size for inland striper. Thanks.....

There may be records observed for Inland freshwater and inland saltwater in some states that have large rivers.
Arizona comes to mind as a state that has two inland records. One for the Colorado river and another for a landlocked impoundment.
New Yorks Inland record is also the freshwater record although the fish was likely a marine fish.

You have to join the IGFA for the info your looking for.
Its not really published anywhere except by scrapers or the individual state DNR.s
Its likely held by Crazy Alberto Knie. He holds a few line class records.
Some guy actually used two pound test to land a huge fish in the chesapeake but of course the fish went belly up.
