Default Boat Launch Reports ?

Hey all was looking for some info on the boat launch's going to be putting in around Newburgh area. I heard some launches work better on high tide etc. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Public launch next to Gully's just south of the bridge on the West Bank. Nice concrete launch and decent parking.

Never had an issue with the tides...........nice long ramp and protected from the current by Gully's on one side and land on the other.

Thanks DocZ !! I will say your a nice guy with the info. Too many ash wholes won't even tell you a nice spot to launch your boat cuz they thinks it's spot burning lmfao !! I love it really spot burning on a migratory fish huh so that means what they don't come and go just as quick as they are in one spot they can be in many others as well lol.

I am going to give the first trip on the Hudson a try tomorrow. I have only caught landlocked hybrids at lake wallenpaupack and fished the cape cod canal for them. I got a bit of experience from upstate with salmon, steelhead and some big browns so we shall see how it goes.

Good luck. Finally caught some today up in Castleton. Hopefully I'll be getting my other boat in the river in Newburg by next week to fish down there.
