Default Review - Ande 30# braid

I've been trying out the Ande 30# braid for a few months now on my 9' surf rig with a Team Daiwa 4500 Advantage spinning reel and I'm very impressed with the stuff. It's not widely distributed yet but if you come across a spool you should give it a go.

30# test @ 6# diameter - really, really thin for the test strength probably why for me it's longer casting then the 20# Fireline I had been using on this setup. It's so thin that casting heavy loads without finger protection could be a bad thing. I've been using it off the Jersey jetties with all the barnacle and mussel encrusted rocks and so far it's been very abrasion resistant plus, with a fully loaded spool I haven't had a single wind knot.
Haven't tried it on conventional yet.

Next test (if I can find another spool) will be to load one of my 706's and see how it does for the fall run and Montauk.

Default Hey suds

I'm also in the Hook area, did you buy that locally and if so, where?

Thanks

It was sent to me to try out by the company back in Feb. (That didn't in any way reflect on my opinion. If I didn't like it I still would have skewered em.)

I know DaveS over at that other site is a distributor also they have it for list price at Digital dagger .com - $27 for 300 yards of 30.
