Default out of commission

so here we are at the height of the striper season. from all the posts and reports, i'm glad to see everyone having a good time out there. unfortunetly i just took myself out of the game for a while.

its called a "boxers break", which occurs when you hit someone or something with your fist and it breaks your knuckle. no need to say how i did it but i'm a construction worker and a bouncer at night. . only i did it good. i spent 5 hours in rhode island hospital ER on thursday. 2 of those hours were spent waiting for 4 different plastic surgeons to come and "reset" my knuckle which had 2 breaks in it. talk about your pain. needless to say, the cast is from my fingers to my elbow, on my rod holding side (right), and is excrutiating. i have to go back to the plasticdudes on friday to see if its healing right. then i will find out how long i have to keep this S.O.B. on.

so i did a good job on myself but don't you worry, I'LL BE BACK !!!!!

i'm the kind of idiot that will start fishing when it feels better. i'll just call it "percocet fishing". hahaha.

how hurting ami for fishing you ask? well, i just called my buddy and told him that i want to go with him andwatch, hahaha.

i'll still be monitoring all forums and chats and answering any questions anyone might have or to guide someone through their first time.

Default Hi Craig

Hi Craig
Sorry bout that. Try not to get the cast wet and dirty. At least Give it a week or two to let it set correctly and for the pain to diminish first, before you wrap it in plastic and cast that 15 footer with it. :D
Hope your feelin better soon.
How inappropriate to call this planet Earth when it is quite clearly Ocean.

hahaha, thanks Jim, you know i've been thinking about it too. what i was really thinking about is, connecting a strap to the pole that will fit around my neck and have the butt of the pole in a pocket on my waist...that way, all i have to do is reel in.

i'll be back

Tough break - um sorry

Don't worry - you'll be well rested when the fall run kicks in - which is prime time.
