There will be one last pass of fish. When will that be? Anytime now. Then it'll be over.

I fished southern R.I. last Sunday looking for striper's and got into some of the biggest bluefish of the season. They were hitting all up and down the beach ! One lady caught one that was 18 pounds, most everyone caught at least 12 fish! May try again this Sat. The blitz started right at high tide!

Yeah, I hit them pretty good last week but it seems like the fish have moved on. Maybe it was just bad luck but the wind was favorable and I was surprised at the lack of action. I think that was my last trip to Rhode Island as it's a two hour ride.

Fitz, do you stop by N.E Outfitters at all. Tom, the proprietor is a very good fella. And, I've fished with him over the years in SoCo.

Well I went out last night. The surf was way up the bottom was muddy and murky the bait was nowhere to be found. The fat lady has sung on my season. I did see a keeper bass taken and one small blue caught this morning. I heard of a large bass caught friday night. There may be more fish coming through but I will let you guys catch them. I am stripping down the gear taking stock and hoping for an early spring run! Best of luck to all that head out.

You know, sometimes you need to get off the beach to find a bass?

Friday night/Sat

I hit spots from the river to the Q. Nothing at all here too. And every one around me depressed.
I'm gonna try next week then I put away the fishing gear and kill ducks.

Understood, I just have a feeling with the water turned up the way it is for the most part the bait has moved off-shore or to calmer interior water.

Jimmy Z. yes I have stopped in his shop many times and attended a few seminars. Nice group of people in there I would and have recommended them to my fellow fisherman. They beat the hell out of Cabelas and Dick's.
