Default My Luck this past weekend

Tried my luck during this past few days of very warm temps. And all i got was a dang burn. Well I hope everyone else had better luck than I sure did. I think this warm snap shut the fishing down down here in SW RI. Anyone else have the same issue besides me?

i haven't been out but in plymouth bay with water temps close to 70 degrees inside our bay yesterday i think we are transforming from the spring blitz into the summer lazy pattern......my guess anyway

its been hit or miss over here...

The bright sun may have put them down for a short time, but this spring run is by no means over. We still have a couple of weeks before the summer pattern starts. If you start fishing summer strategies now, well, you give up too easily. There are still fish in the Hudson, and I really don't think all the Chesapeake fish have arrived yet. This is looking to be one of the best seasons since the early 70's by the timing and number of fish that have shown this year so far. Don't get spoiled folks, it's only gonna get better. When these fish disperse and start hunting in small pods at night, they will be everywhere! The large concentrated schools will blanket the coast when they spread out.
Water temps are not even prime along the southern beaches yet!

Fish at night. I have yet to get a sunburn doing that, and when the water temps start to climb, that's when you want to be on the water...

It was slow as well, Sat evening.
It'll get better, the fish are where the bait are.

They sure are, hit one spot last week, did not see any bait and was not catching fish. Hit another spot a few hours later that was full of bait, noticed them as soon as I pulled in and lil light hit em, what'ya know, I started catching fish :)
