Dont plan on the crowds abating any time soon, not until the fishing gets a little tougher, it's easy now so you have the crowds.... by August it will be peace in the valley...
Those fish are moving north and west ( west meaning upriver to the lawrence dam, or as far as the water willl allow, the river is very low up river) within the next week, the large fish that chased the herring upriver will be dropping back, you'll know when you catch one, they will be all beat up, with large sores and bruised and battered tails... Those fish will feed in the brine, heal up and move north shortly after the full moon..
the new moon in July will bring our summer fish, inbetween those times it will be a little difficult with a mix of schoolies and a few stragglers....
The rest of the summer depends on the bait, find it and you find the fish.
