well that was his first Keeper striper. of course i helped em'. Fun when hes that young. and he wants to stop reeling because he is tired and i have to tell him LETS GET THAT FISH IN.... Funny thing is when its a striper hes excited when its a blue fish he says...AWWW MAN A BLUEFISH.
He Loves Seafood... especially stripers.
BTW next time ill bring an extra pair of waders for ya i got 4 pairs and only 2 legs.

Still sporadic, fish are def. around but finnicky. Been a good number of them patrolling this one spot (especially right before and after high tide) devouring small schools of baitfish. Next step is gonna be chunk/whole herring or mackerel, my buddy just got ahold of some fresh off the docks from the lobsterman. Let's see 'em turn THAT down ........and if they do, needlefish and/or pencil popper will be my last resort. Only been able to get out in the a.m. lately too so may switch that up as well. Everytime I think it's just about time to wind it down for the season, a couple days go by, a new gameplan emerges and I'm back on the hunt. Keep on keepin on down there man, congrats to ur little man on a very nice fish

This year I have no boat. He pulled in plenty of Largies. As for stripers Went a couple times but nothing its been mostly a night game for me so far. I think I'll bring him scup fishing this week. Heading to boston today for his follow up and to test his hearing again,, He went for a major surgery(6hrs) up in Boston earlier this year..I'm Praying for good news from the Doctor today...IT WOULD BE BETTER THEN ANY 60lb STRIPER!!
