Congrats John sounds like I left a few too early. Unfortunately duty called and the wind got a hold of my braid. I am totally psyched for you. It was a fun morning. I enjoyed meeting up with you guys.

I need to get a camera like that it takes years off people and adds years to your fish.

Hey Doublerunner nice fish. I myself grew up in Whitinsville and still have family up there. I now live in the armpit of the nation-NJ. Boy I miss the fishing up ther in the summer. I'm actully trying to get smething together with my nephews or brother-inlaw. You may know them, well they live on School St in Northbridge about a 1/2 mile down from Hill and my nephew is in his 1st year at Roger Williams (I think)-his name is Gary

Hi Jerseystriper. Well I do know a lot of the people in this area as I've been here quite a while. And I don't live far from School St myself. I'm a little closer to the Douglas town line.

Welcome to the site. If you're ever coming up this way give me a shout and maybe we can do some catching.

Also, Stryperhyper used to live in this town as well.

Cheers

When I head up again I will give you a shout, thank you. I lived there for over 20 yrs but moved to NJ around 15 to 20 yrs ago. I have not been out hunting stripers hard in yrs. Most of my fishing for them was during the hard times when there was much less fish.
I remember spending my summers in West Yarmouth back in the 80's and riding my bike from one end of the Cape to the other in search of fish. Even when I got older and got a car it was still easier to ride my bike due to traffic. Through those years I had fished almost every cove, pier and beach

Very nice fish. A great big and healthy striped bass your first time out.
