In New England winter has just barely ended where I am in Connecticut, there is still snow. Will this affect the stripers coming back, and will the fishing season be delayed?
It might be tough in the local, larger rivers like the Ct and the Housi, with high water because of all the snow. Lets see how things are towards the middle of April
Agreed that some of the rivers may have a lot of runoff for a bit due to the snow. The temps this week will be warm so hopefully that helps the water temps a bit. Can't wait for June as that is hopefully when the bite really turns on up my way.
Things are pretty much on schedule here in CT. The schoolies are active! Lets see what happens in May!
