Talking Going Crazy

Hi all. Well I got some of the gear I wanted for Christmas (except the Van Staal) I bought a new rod, cleaned my reels, organized, and reorganized my tackle, did a little fly casting practice, read a few books, watched a video, and now I'm going nuts!! I want to go fishing!! I cant wait until the spring just hope school doesn't screw me like it did last fall. Hope every one is having a great off season see y'all on the water :)

My stir craziness has been slightly delayed this year, due to just being plain busy with moving, familiy, work, etc. I completely missed the fall season last year too and haven't even looked at my equipment since October. Am I backsliding? No, I don't think so,, just distracted for a bit.

First step,, finish unpacking all the boxes in my garage so that I can find my work bench. Then I'll get started going through my crap and getting stuff ready for spring. I'm planning to make some changes to my boat situation as well. I spent much more time working on my POS boat last year than I did actually fishing,,, not gonna do that again this year,,, what a friggin waste of time. I've half decided to sell it and buy a kayak.

Hey Bait, Did you buy a house? If so, congrats... Need a place
for the youngins...

Found a fishin buddy on one of my son's hockey teams. He's an
outdoor fanatic.

He's got the pass to go anytime from his wife. This guy has it made...

My boat is right in my driveway...Got a few early spring projects
and she'll be ready to get wet early spring...

Been watchin all the ebay auctions for the last week or two. Could use
a few more setups. 1 more Penn GTI and a couple more spinning rigs.

This will be a good full season of fishin for me...

Hi Cal,
Yup,, took the dive and bought a house in NB just before Thanksgiving last year. I'll have to come up and spend a Saturday with you this summer, how's that?

Khary,
Good luck with the Tog bro. I've only been Tog fishin once, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Man those suckers can pull for their size, can't they? Definately beats sittin at home making practice casts.

Hey Bait, that'd be just fine... NB??

I know I should know the initials but I can't figure it.

I've been full out with so much hockey I haven't had time
to do any projects. I hope it turns warmer soon so I can get
some work done around the house...

I've got to sand the bottom paint on the boat and get it prep'ed
for a new paint job. Getting it ready to go this year is going to be
a lot of fun... Working right in my own driveway...Nice! All my tools
right there...Can't wait!

Nice fish Jeff. Whish I was out there.

A few more weeks and my cabin fever will be cured, Just booked a trip to Tulum, Mexico. 30 miles from Ascension bay, and really fishy looking water right off the hotel( I google earthed it). Now I'm just researching what I ned to bring and who the capt. are, but I think I'm gonna try to do most of it on my own.

I'm gonna try to get out toggn next weekend if I can find the time. I'm taking two math classes an art class as well as a physics class so have little time. Cant wait till summer!
